Saskia Brouwers has a range of work experience in various roles and organizations. Saskia currently works at Rijkswaterstaat as a Project lead and a Member of the works council. Saskia'sresponsibilities also include working as an Ecologist for the Water Framework Directive and a Consultant for river basin management. Prior to this, Saskia had a side job as a Student and also worked in various side jobs from 2011 to 2020. Saskia interned at Royal HaskoningDHV, where they developed an interactive GIS-tool to investigate possibilities for municipal effluent reuse. Additionally, they interned at Gemeente Maasgouw, where they wrote their bachelor's thesis on the social impact of the retention basin and worked on projects related to land matters. Saskia also interned at Lentekracht, where they participated in a reconnection project and worked on solutions for vacancy issues and graffiti pollution in Nijmegen.
Saskia Brouwers has a diverse education history. Saskia completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Geography, Planning, and Environmental Sciences at Radboud University from 2014 to 2018. In addition, they pursued a Master of Science degree in Transnational Ecosystem-Based Water Management at both Radboud University and the University of Duisburg-Essen from 2018 to 2020. Prior to their university studies, Saskia attended Philips van Horne SG Weert for their pre-university education (VWO) from 2008 to 2014. Saskia also had a brief academic experience at National Taiwan University in 2016-2017 in the field of Bioenvironmental Systems Engineering, although it is unclear if they obtained a degree from that institution.
