Elke Matheis

Elke Matheis has extensive experience in legal advisory roles within governmental institutions in Norway. Currently serving as Underdirektør at Riksrevisjonen since March 2003, Elke Matheis previously held positions including Assistant Director General and Deputy Director General at the Office of the Auditor General of Norway from September 2013 to November 2021. Earlier, from August 1994 to March 2003, Elke Matheis worked as a Legal Adviser in the Ministry of Transport and Communications. Educationally, Elke Matheis holds a Master of Law (LLM) from The University of Freiburg and a Juridisk embetseksamen from the University of Bergen (UiB), along with completing education at Holmen videregående skole.
