Melissa Mortenson is the owner of Polka Dot Chair, a website founded in May 2008 that offers readers simple and inspiring DIY and sewing projects, holiday crafts, and family recipes. In addition, Melissa serves as an independent licensed textile designer for Riley Blake Designs since January 2015, where licensed designs are printed. Melissa holds a degree from Brigham Young University, which was completed between 1991 and 1995.
