Dhiraj Barnwal has had a varied and successful career to date. Dhiraj began their career in 2017 as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at CNERG - Complex Networks Research Group, IIT Kharagpur, where they worked on ACL Anthology Knowledge Graph and developed CLScholar. In 2018 they were an Executive Head at Kharagpur Open Source Society, where they organized Open Source Summit and taught at various workshops. Dhiraj was also a Software Engineering Intern (Google Summer of Code) at Mozilla, where they worked on Iodide, an open source web browser based frictionless portable notebook. In 2019, they were a Visiting Researcher at MIT Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence Laboratory (CSAIL) and a Nanodegree Mentor at Udacity. Currently, they are a Software Developer at SAP Labs India, where they developed an in-house framework for fuzz based testing of Role Based Permissions (RBP) across various SuccessFactor APIs and modules, and a custom resiliency tool based on Property Based Testing concepts catering to OData and OpenAPI schemas. Dhiraj is also a Software Engineer at Rill Data, where they are making the journey between metrics, analytics and KPIs faster by developing a data intensive web application, and developing novel data visualizations and a self-service BI dashboard by leveraging Svelte and TypeScript.
Dhiraj Barnwal obtained their Bachelor's degree in Industrial and Systems Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur between 2016 and 2020.
