Derek Smyrl

Derek Smyrl has worked in various roles in the food and beverage industry since 2007. Derek began their career as an Account Executive at Strän Promotional Solutions. Derek then moved to Abbott Nutrition-Myoplex in 2010 as a Market Development Manager. In 2011, they took on the role of Key Account Sales Supervisor at Great State Beverages, Inc. In 2014, Derek became the District Sales Manager-New England at Chef's Cut Real Jerky Co. Derek then moved to Mamma Chia in 2015 as the North Atlantic Territory Manager. In 2016, they were the District Sales Manager at Cleansource Environmental Products. From 2018 to 2022, Derek worked at HIPPEAS Organic Chickpea Snacks in roles as an Account Executive, Regional Sales Manager-North Atlantic & Midwest, and District Sales Manager-New England. Derek is currently the Sales Manager-East at RIND Snacks.

Derek Smyrl attended the University of New Hampshire from 2003 to 2007 and received a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Marketing and Business Administration from UNH Peter T. Paul College of Business and Economics.
