Dwayne Mercredi

Dwayne Mercredi is a seasoned engineering leader with extensive experience in various roles across notable tech companies. Currently serving as the Director of Engineering at RingCentral since September 2023, Dwayne previously held the position of Vice President of Engineering at Together Labs from April 2019 to July 2023, and also served as Director of Engineering there. Prior experience includes significant contributions at Facebook, where Dwayne worked as a Software Developer from July 2014 to April 2019, shaping the Messenger video chat team's roadmap and project implementation. Dwayne is the founder and former CTO of Freak’n Genius, which focused on animation technology, and has held key roles at companies like YouSendIt, Attassa, and SAFLINK, driving innovative software solutions and leading cross-functional engineering teams. Dwayne earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Alberta.
