Josh Collins

Josh Collins has a diverse work experience spanning over 20 years. Josh most recently served as the EVP and Director of Market Development at Rio Bank since May 2023. Prior to that, they were the Director of Private Banking at Third Coast Bank, SSB from May 2021 to May 2023.

Before joining Rio Bank, Josh held various leadership roles in the financial industry. Josh worked as the SVP and Global Wealth Executive at BBVA in the USA from October 2017 to May 2021, where they provided customized solutions and advisory services to clients. Josh also served as the VP and Sr. Private Client Investment Advisor at Amegy Bank from January 2013 to October 2017, focusing on aligning clients' financial strategies with their values.

Josh has a background in both finance and ministry. Josh served as a Teaching Elder/Pastor at The Crossing Community Church from August 2015 to December 2019. Additionally, they held roles at Castle Hills First Baptist Church as the Minister of Education and at Merrill Lynch as a Financial Advisor.

Earlier in their career, Josh worked at Wachovia Wealth Management as a VP and Private Bank Relationship Manager, at Bank of America as an AVP and Premier Banking and Investments Client Manager, and at Home Loan Corporation as an Operations Manager.

Josh's strong background in finance, leadership, and ministry make him a versatile professional with a range of skills and experiences.

Josh Collins obtained their Bachelor of Arts degree in Finance and Philosophy from Texas A&M University. Josh attended the university from 1999 to 2002. Subsequently, from 2010 to 2014, they pursued their Master of Divinity degree in Teaching and Philosophy at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary.
