Alma Dayawon

Alma Dayawon is a seasoned communications professional with extensive experience in employee communications and public relations. Currently serving as the Global Employee Communications Lead at Rio Tinto since August 2023, Alma previously held the position of Communications Leader for Australia and New Zealand at GE HealthCare from January 2019 to August 2023. Prior to that, Alma worked at GE as the Communications Manager, overseeing GE Reports Australia, New Zealand & Papua New Guinea. Alma's career at The Boeing Company spanned a decade, where key roles included Training Systems and Services Communications Manager, responsible for internal and external communications, and Electronic Communications Manager, overseeing global web communications. Alma holds a Master of Science in Journalism from Northwestern University and a Bachelor of Journalism from the University of Missouri-Columbia.
