Puneet Matai is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in data governance and management. Currently serving as the Data and AI Governance Lead for RT Commercial at Rio Tinto, Puneet has previously held significant roles including Program Manager for the Group Data Privacy & Protection Initiative at UOB and Director of Strategic Client Advisory focusing on Data Strategy, Cloud Integration, and BI & Analytics at Salesforce. Additionally, Puneet served as SVP, Associate Director of Enterprise Data Governance at Santander Bank, N.A., and has contributed to academia as a Course Instructor at Columbia University in the City of New York.
