Michael Batty

Michael Batty is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in strategic financial management and consultancy. Currently serving as the VP of Finance at RIOS Intelligent Machines since May 2022, Michael's previous roles include financial consultant for various small businesses and senior finance positions in a stealth mode startup. Michael has a strong background in compliance management, financial planning and analysis (FP&A), and reporting, with significant responsibilities at Precision Castparts as Controller and Assistant Controller. Michael holds multiple advanced degrees, including an MBA in Accounting and Finance from Saint Mary's College of California and an MBA in International Business from the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology, complemented by executive management training at the University of Michigan and undergraduate degrees in Finance and Economics from the University of Oregon and Copenhagen Business School.
