Jonathan Black is the Senior Director of Applied Design at RIOS. Prior to their current position, they served as the Plant Controller at TreeHouse Foods from April 2015 to June 2021. In this role, they provided finance leadership by maintaining solid internal controls, providing timely and accurate financial reporting, and analyzing operational performance and results. Jonathan also facilitated management decision making and strategic planning by providing analytical insight to ensure good informed decisions were made. Additionally, they successfully transitioned the plant from JDE to SAP in 2017.
Some of their key responsibilities at TreeHouse Foods included managing the Plant P&L and Balance Sheet, developing and preparing financial, analytical and operational reports, establishing effective product cost standards and yield targets, participating in weekly meetings with the management team to review spend and KPIs, tracking cost savings projects, executing monthly end close, creating yearly budgets, completing annual audits, and leading the transition of the Finance department (and all other departments) to SAP.
Jonathan Black has extensive experience in finance and accounting, strategic planning, and operations management. Jonathan is a highly effective leader and communicator, with a proven track record of success in both small and large organizations.
Jonathan Black received their Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Accounting from the University of Texas at El Paso.
