Scott Newton

Scott Newton is an experienced professional in writing and creative management, currently serving as Senior Manager and Head of Writing for Global Marketing Creative at Riot Games since June 2020. Previously, Scott held the position of Senior Managing Editor for ASUS North America, where responsibilities included leading writers to craft engaging content and managing relationships with global partners. Scott's freelance experience from 2015 to 2020 encompassed copywriting and editing for diverse clients. Earlier roles included Copy Lead at Trion Worlds, where Scott managed writing for multiple AAA video game titles, and various positions in editorial work and community engagement. Scott holds an M.A. in English Literature from the University of Iowa and dual B.A. degrees in English and Psychology from the University of Wyoming.
