Satish Narayanan

Satish Narayanan has a diverse work experience in the technology industry. Satish is currently the Director of Information Technology at Silicon Valley Bank since February 2023. Prior to this, they held the position of Head of Technology and Chief Architect at ripe.io from October 2018. Satish also worked at Wells Fargo as a Lead Systems Architect from December 2022 to February 2023. At Silicon Valley Bank, they held multiple roles including Senior Solutions Architect, Lead Software Development Center of Excellence (CoE), Infrastructure Architect, and Infrastructure Engineer from 2007 to 2018. Satish started their career at Oracle in Financial Services as an Assistant Manager from August 2004 to January 2007, and worked as a Technical Expert at Dell from November 2002 to July 2004.

Satish Narayanan's education history begins in 1998 when they attended Shanmugha Arts, Science, Technology and Research Academy. Satish pursued a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree with a focus on Electronics, completing their studies in 2002.

In 2000, Satish Narayanan also enrolled in Aptech Computer Education, where they obtained a Higher Diploma in Software Engineering. This program allowed him to develop their skills and knowledge in the field of Computer Engineering.

Many years later, in 2018, Narayanan pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the University of Arizona, Eller College of Management. During their time at the university, they specialized in various areas such as Entrepreneurship, MIS - Information Security & Privacy, Risk Management, Data Mining, and Analytics. Satish completed their MBA studies in 2020.

In addition to their formal education, Satish Narayanan has obtained several certifications. Satish received certification in Leadership and Management, Managing and Motivating Talent, Leadership in the 21st Century, Managing the Global Firm, and Strategic Management: Competitive and Corporate Strategy from Wharton Executive Education in 2018.

Narayanan also holds certifications in The Open Group Certified: TOGAF® 9 Certified, which they obtained in 2017, and Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), which they attained in 2007. Additionally, they recently acquired the certification of AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in 2022.
