Paul Stuart

Paul Stuart has a comprehensive work experience spanning various roles and industries. Paul started their career as a Senior Accountant at Ernst & Young from September 1991 to June 1995. Following this, they worked as a Financial and Systems Accountant at Bath Press Limited from June 1995 to September 1996.

From September 1996 to April 1997, Paul served as a Financial Controller at Reader's Digest Children's Publishing Limited. Paul then transitioned to the role of Finance Director from April 1997 to July 2000, responsible for the financial management of the company. Ultimately, they became the Commercial Director from July 2000 to March 2013, leading the international division and establishing successful partnerships.

Paul's career continued with a role as Central Team Manager at Oasis Mozambique from October 2009 to October 2010. Subsequently, they worked at Ripple Effect, starting as Director of Finance and Resources from March 2013 to April 2014. Paul then took on the position of Chief Operating Officer from April 2014 to April 2016, followed by the role of Interim CEO from April 2016 to December 2016. Finally, they became the Chief Executive Officer from January 2017 to the present.

In February 2019, Paul Stuart assumed the role of Vice Chair of the Board at Development Initiatives. Paul also serves as a Steering Committee Member at Bond UK since March 2020. Overall, Paul has accumulated extensive experience in finance, leadership, and strategic management throughout their career.

Paul Stuart attended the University of Exeter from 1988 to 1991, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Accountancy & Economics.
