Brian Forester

Brian Forester has over 30 years of work experience. In 1987, they began their career as a Research Scientist at Environmental Research Institute of Michigan. Brian then worked as a Software Engineer at Borders from 1996 to 1997, and as a Senior Software Engineer at FAME Information Services from 1997 to 2000. From 2000 to 2001, they were a Senior Software Architect at Fullscope, Inc. Brian then worked as a Senior Software Engineer at ProQuest from 2001 to 2003. During this time, they were also a Software Consultant at Menlo Innovations contracted to JSTOR from 2003 to 2005. From 2005 to 2006, they were an Application Programmer III at University of Michigan Hospital Systems. Brian then worked as a Senior Software Architect at ProQuest/CSA from 2006 to 2021. Most recently, they have been an Architect Lead at Ripple Science since 2021.

Brian Forester obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Math and Computer Science from Eastern Michigan University in 1987. Brian also holds two certifications from Coursera, one for R Programming obtained in March 2015, and one for The Data Scientist's Toolbox obtained in March 2015.
