Jacob Bonenberger has over 20 years of professional experience in the healthcare and market research industries. Jacob began their career in 2000 as a Research Associate at Harris Interactive. Jacob then moved to Johnston, Zabor, McManus, Inc. (now Phoenix Healthcare) in 2001 as a Project Manager. In 2004, they became a Market Research Consultant (MBA practicum) at EMD Pharmaceuticals. In 2005, they held two positions, first as a Business Development Consultant (MBA practicum) at Becton Dickinson and then as a Market Research and Business Intelligence (MBA Internship) at Bristol-Myers Squibb. In this role, they created a behavioral segmentation based on secondary prescriber data and recommended a prioritization scheme based on market opportunity and growth rates. Jacob also recommended resource allocation changes based on the promotional responsiveness of each physician segment that would allow for 25% growth in 2006 without increasing the overall investment level. In 2006, they moved to Bristol-Myers Squibb as an Associate Director Market Research and Business Intelligence. In 2008, they became the Vice President - Commercial Strategy and Forecasting at Ipsos. In 2014, they took on the role of Market Research and Business Analytics Consultant as an Independent Consultant. In 2016, they co-founded Ripple Science, a research-focused SaaS healthcare company, and held various roles including Founder, CEO, Chairman of the Board, Co-Chairman of the Board, and Board Observer.

Jacob Bonenberger completed their Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1996. Jacob then went on to earn their Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology from Appalachian State University in 2000. In 2004, they completed their MBA from UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School, with a focus on Strategy and Sustainable Enterprise.
