Nestor Lopez-Duran is the founder and visionary behind Ripple Science, a web-based software that facilitates the recruitment and management of research participants for clinical and translational studies. Ripple Science helps teams to develop and execute more effective recruitment campaigns, streamlines the tracking and retention of research volunteers, and provides analytics that predict the easiest and fastest path to study completion. Nestor is also a professor of clinical psychology at the University of Michigan, where they conduct research on the biosocial mechanisms of childhood depression, stress, and other stress-related disorders.
