Defne Garner

Defne Garner is an experienced finance professional with a strong background in the biotechnology and pharmaceuticals sectors. Currently serving as VP of Finance at Ripple Therapeutics since January 2020, Defne also holds the same title at Interface Biologics since May 2013, where previous roles included Director of Finance. Prior experience encompasses the role of Assistant Controller for Latin America at SAS from November 2010 to May 2013 and Senior Accountant at KPMG from September 2008 to October 2010, alongside earlier experience as a Staff Accountant in a co-op position at KPMG LLP. Defne Garner holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biotechnology/Chartered Accountancy and is pursuing a Master of Accounting degree, both from the University of Waterloo.
