Mehdi Shoja

Mehdi Shoja is currently the Director of Credit Pricing at Ripple. Prior to this role, they held positions at Freedom Financial Network and MUFG as a Staff Data Scientist and Enterprise Portfolio Risk Manager, respectively. They have a strong background in Portfolio Risk Analytics, Credit Risk Economic Capital Modeling, and Economics Capital Models. Additionally, they have experience in model development and analysis from their time at Citi Group and academic research experience as a Graduate Research Assistant at USC. Mehdi Shoja's educational background includes a PhD in Economics - Econometrics from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and a Master's degree in Mathematical Finance from the University of Southern California.
