Shantaram Waingankar

Shantaram Waingankar has a diverse work experience spanning from 2007 to the present. Shantaram started their career as an intern at ACS, working on various R&D projects. After that, they joined Ticketvala.com as a Software Engineer where they contributed to the development of India's first bus travel portal. During their time at Ticketvala.com, they integrated third-party booking APIs and payment gateway services, and also designed and implemented web services for booking services.

In 2009, Shantaram joined Saba Software Pvt Ltd as a Software Engineer and later became a Senior Software Engineer / Module Lead. In this role, they developed an analytics engine for the entire suite of Saba HRM solutions, which included an analytics software with an interactive UI, a customizable and interactive charting solution, and integration with Crystal Reports & SAP Business Objects. Shantaram also developed a framework over TestNG and Selenium for workflow testing and test data management, and worked in a team to move enterprise products to a seamless CI server.

In 2012, Shantaram joined IDMission as a Lead Product Engineer. Shantaram was part of the analytics team that developed business intelligence and visualization of data for multiple products in the Fintech space. Shantaram contributed to the development of a graph-based recommendation engine for a B2C mobile product and worked on a new mobile currency product.

In 2014, Shantaram joined RippleHire as the Head of Engineering. Unfortunately, no end date is provided, so it can be assumed that they are still in this role.

Shantaram Waingankar began their education at St. Xavier's Boys' Academy, where they completed their SSC degree from 1996 to 2000. Afterward, they pursued a degree in Computer Science at the University of Mumbai from 2004 to 2008, earning a BE. Following this, they enrolled at Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani and completed their MS in Software Systems from 2011 to 2013.
