Shivam Kapoor has a background in cybersecurity and has worked in various roles related to security analysis and fault injection. In 2017, they worked as a Cybersecurity Research Intern at Cyware Labs. In 2018, they interned as an Openlab Security Intern at CERN, where they worked on automated sandbox analysis of malware reaching CERN through email traffic. In 2021, Shivam joined Riscure as a Fault Injection Intern, where they simulated fault injection in RISC-V core and created a comprehensive test bench suite. In 2022, they transitioned to a role as a Security Analyst at Riscure.
Shivam Kapoor completed a Bachelor of Technology degree in Computer Science from Vellore Institute of Technology between the years 2015 and 2019. Shivam then pursued a Master's degree in Computer Systems Security, specializing in Computer Science, from both the University of Amsterdam and Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam (VU Amsterdam), where they studied from 2019 to 2021.
