Richard Colvin

Richard Colvin has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Richard currently holds the position of Technology Alignment Manager at Risetech Partners since January 2022. Their previous role was as the Client Field Services Engineer at TRA, Inc. from April 2019 to December 2021, where they provided Tier 2 and 3 technical support.

Before that, Richard worked as a POS Warehouse Coordinator at Breakthru Beverage Group from October 2016 to November 2018, where they maintained inventory of branded merchandise and assisted the sales team. From September 2013 to October 2016, they served as the IT Coordinator at Milwaukee Film, where they implemented IT support, managed software and hardware, and conducted hiring and training for festival operations.

Richard's experience also includes working as an Operations Manager at OfficeMax from July 2012 to October 2016, where they were responsible for store presentation and goal-setting. Richard has also worked at San Francisco Film Society as the Assistant Manager of Transportation for a brief period in 2015 and at Sundance Institute as the Assistant Coordinator of Customer Service from November 2014 to February 2015.

Throughout their career, Richard has demonstrated skills in technical support, inventory management, IT coordination, customer service, and operations management.

Richard Colvin earned an Associate of Science (AS) degree in Network and System Administration from Milwaukee Area Technical College from 2016 to 2018. Prior to that, they pursued a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree in Film/Cinema/Video Studies from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, which they completed between 2008 and 2014. In addition to their degrees, Richard Colvin obtained a certification as an HDI Support Center Analyst from HDI in May 2020.
