Vimal Kavuru

Vimal Kavuru has a diverse work experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Vimal started their career in 1993 as the Director of Pharmacy at Homedco/Apria Health care, where they worked until 1997. Vimal then served as the Director of Pharmacy at Chartwell Home Therapies from 1997 to 2000. From 2000 to 2007, they were the President and Pharmacist at Rubin Chemists Inc.

In 2007, Vimal joined Celon Laboratories Limited as an Investor, where they were involved in developing and marketing oncology and critical care medicines in India and other countries. Vimal remained with the company until their departure date is unknown.

From 2008 to 2013, Vimal served as the Chief Executive Officer of Gensource RX LLC. Vimal then joined Citron Pharma, LLC as the Chief Executive Officer from 2013 to 2016.

In 2016, Vimal became an Executive Committee Member at Rising Pharmaceuticals, a position they held until December 2019. Vimal then assumed the role of Chief Executive Officer at the same company in April 2019, with no specified end date.

During their tenure at Rising Pharmaceuticals, Vimal also took on additional responsibilities. Vimal served as a Member of the Board of Directors at Aceto Corporation from March 2017 to October 2019. Vimal was also the Chief Executive Officer of CRONUS PHARMA LLC from January 2017 to September 2020.

Vimal Kavuru attended Long Island University from 1989 to 1992, where they pursued a Masters in Industrial Pharmacy with a focus on Pharmaceuticals. Prior to that, from 1985 to 1989, they attended HKES College of Pharmacy in Gulbarga, earning a B.S in Pharmacy. Their educational journey began at Little Flower Degree College from 1983 to 1985, where they completed their Intermediate level studies in High School/Secondary Diplomas and Certificates.
