Lashonda Tyree

LaShonda Tyree is an accomplished Entrepreneurship Instructor at Rising Tide Capital since February 2014, where responsibilities include teaching a 12-week entrepreneur training program covering essential business concepts. As the Owner of Nyah Beauty since January 2003, LaShonda specializes in handcrafted beauty and skincare products made from natural ingredients. Previously, LaShonda served as a Board Director for the Handcrafted Soapmakers Guild from 2004 to 2009 and worked as an Assistant Controller at Oritani Savings Bank/Hamilton Savings Bank from 1999 to 2003, focusing on financial statement preparation and accounting operations. LaShonda began their career as an Accountant at NVE Savings Bank from 1991 to 1999 and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Fairleigh Dickinson University.
