Stacey Blissett-Saavedra

Stacey Blissett-Saavedra has a diverse and extensive background in technology and leadership roles. Currently, they serve as the Chief Technology Officer at The Risk Management Association, where they are responsible for overseeing the technological aspects of the organization. Prior to that, they worked as the Executive Director of an undisclosed non-profit organization, where they played a key role in leading and managing the organization.

Before that, Stacey worked at ESSTTAA Consulting as a Technology Consultant, specializing in providing technology solutions to non-profit organizations and minority small businesses. Stacey worked closely with the leadership team to perform gap analysis, create strategic plans, and manage technology initiatives.

Stacey also has experience in the public sector, as they served as the Chief Information Officer at the New York City Commission on Human Rights. In this role, they led a team that implemented digital transformations and utilized PaaS and SaaS tools to improve operational efficiency.

Additionally, Stacey has worked at the NYC Department of Education as the Senior Director of Technology and Operations, overseeing the technical formative assessment application portfolio. Stacey negotiated and managed vendor contracts and provided training programs for educators and administrators.

Stacey also held leadership positions at Scholastic, where they developed and managed application solutions aligned with business strategies. Stacey enhanced digital asset management systems and managed internal departments to increase production and delivery. Stacey also worked at Apple as a Lead Genius, directing a support team and creating service procedures at the flagship retail store in New York City.

Stacey Blissett-Saavedra obtained their Bachelor of Communications degree, with a focus on Film and Graphic Design, from the University of Miami from 1996 to 1999.
