Jessica Lucas has been working in the talent and culture space since 2020, when they began as a Director of Talent and Culture at risk3sixty. In 2021, they joined the Georgia Army National Guard as a Personnel Officer. Prior to this, Jessica worked for the United States Department of the Army from 2015-2021 in various roles, including Executive Personnel Manager, General Officer Management Office, Management and Support Operations Deputy for the Office of Chief Legislative Liaison, Personnel Manager and Advisor, Division Strength Manager and Advisor - Army, and Personnel Strength Manager and Advisor. During their tenure at the Department of the Army, Jessica wrote the organizational playbook to guide the organization through background screening and personnel actions, leveraged technology to develop and implement a new database to increase efficiency and collaboration, and used lean process improvement principles to save the department $50,000 per year. Jessica also managed and led execution of $200,000 official representation funds with 100% success.
Jessica Lucas attended the United States Military Academy at West Point from 2007 to 2011, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in International Law and Legal Studies. Jessica then went on to Georgetown University McDonough School of Business, where they completed an Executive Master's in Leadership in 2020. In January 2023, they obtained a Senior Talent Management Practitioner certification from the Talent Management Institute.
