Mansour Karami, PhD has worked in a variety of roles in the past decade. From 2011 to 2013, they were a Student Support Astronomer at the Isaac Newton Group of Telescopes. During this time, they also served as an Associate Graduate Student and Visiting Graduate Fellow at the Perimeter Institute from 2013 to 2018. In 2018, they held positions as a Data Scientist and Quantitative Developer at Scotiabank, and a Risk Modelling Researcher at CIBC. Most recently, they have been an AI Research Scientist at Riskfuel since 2022.

Mansour Karami, PhD has an extensive education history. Mansour obtained a Bachelor's degree in Solid State Physics from the University of Tehran in 2008. Mansour then attended Sharif University of Technology, where they obtained a Master of Science in Cosmology in 2010 and a Doctor of Philosophy in Cosmology - Astrophysics in 2014. Mansour also has a number of certifications, including a NVIDIA DLI Certificate in Fundamentals of Accelerated Computing with CUDA C/C++ obtained in November 2021, a Custom and Distributed Training with TensorFlow certification from Coursera in October 2021, and a Machine Learning certification from Coursera in May 2014.
