Michael Parker

Michael Parker has a diverse work experience in the field of risk management and technology solutions. Michael began their career in 2003 as a Loss Control & Business Development Manager at United Business Insurance Company. From 2007 to 2013, they served as the Director of Risk & Technical Services at Member Insurance Agency, Inc. During this time, they gained significant expertise in risk assessment and technical services. In 2013, they joined Aon as an Account Executive, where they successfully managed and owned key client relationships, specializing in SaaS solutions for risk, claims, and safety management. In 2017, Michael joined Riskonnect, Inc. as a Solutions Architect. In this role, they designed and configured software applications utilizing the Salesforce platform for Risk Management Information Systems (RMIS) and Governance, Risk, & Compliance (GRC) solutions. Michael collaborated with Fortune 500 clients to define business requirements, draft specifications, design solutions, and oversee technical project management for system implementations.

Michael Parker attended the University of South Carolina from 1989 to 1993, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from the College of Humanities. Their field of study was in the Social Sciences. Following their undergraduate studies, they pursued a Master of Science degree in Occupational & Environmental Health from the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center. Michael attended this program from 1993 to 1995 in the College of Public Health. In addition to their academic achievements, Michael Parker obtained certifications including the Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) from the National Alliance for Insurance Education & Research and the GA Resident Agent License from the Department of Insurance in December 2004.
