Stephen Platt has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. In 2004, they served as the Group Chairman at BakerPlatt until 2010. Stephen co-founded the International Compliance Association in 2003 and remained in the role until undefined. Starting in 2010, Platt held multiple positions, including Adjunct Professor at Georgetown University and Barrister at 23 Essex Street Chambers. In 2011, they became a Senior Consultant at Stephen Platt & Associates LLP. Platt also founded Jersey Employment Trust in 2007, where they served as Chairman until 2015. Additionally, Platt worked as a Consultant at The World Bank from 2012 to 2013. In 2015, they became an Author, with their book "Criminal Capital" being an international bestseller. Platt founded RiskScreen and KYC360° in 2016, where they served as Founder and CEO. Stephen also served as a Non Executive Director at Jersey International Business School from 2010 to 2012.
Stephen Platt completed their education with a focus on law. Stephen first attended Brunel University London from 1989 to 1993, where they obtained an LLB (Hons) degree in Law. Additionally, during the same period, they completed a degree in Law. Seeking further specialization in their field, they then attended the Inns of Court School of Law from 1993 to 1994, where they achieved the degree of Barrister.
