April Karavani

April Karavani is an experienced CAD Designer currently employed at Ritani since March 2008, where responsibilities include managing and training new recruits and creating production CAD models using Matrix, as well as designing new items for the bridal and fashion collections. Prior to this, April served as Design Director at Alfred Butler Inc. from 1998 to 2008, focusing on design development, marketing of bridal products, and jewelry photography. Earlier experience includes roles as a Bench Jeweler/Sales Associate at Lorenzini Jewelry and Designer Merchandiser at Pearl City Associates, where skills in jewelry repair, wax model carving, and silk collection development were honed. April holds an Associate's Degree in Fashion/Apparel Design and Jewelry Design from the Fashion Institute of Technology and completed additional education at the Gemological Institute of America.
