Alvaro Ibarguen

Alvaro Ibarguen is a seasoned software engineering professional with extensive experience in mobile application development and project leadership. Currently serving as the Senior Manager for Software Engineering at Ritual.co since October 2018, Alvaro oversees product engineering by prioritizing resource allocation and managing project deliveries. As the founder of Emergere, a mobile applications consultancy established in September 2016, Alvaro combines entrepreneurial skills with technical expertise. Previous roles include Senior Software Engineer at Havas CX Canada, where Alvaro contributed to Android application development using Java and Kotlin, and Software Engineer at Accedo.tv, focusing on media playback integration. Alvaro's career also includes development positions at Ritchie Bros. Auctioneers and ifamii, where significant contributions were made to Android application functionalities. Alvaro holds a degree from the University of Toronto and graduated from Richmond Secondary School.
