Judy Swauger

Judy Swauger became part of the River City Medical Group team in 1996. In her current position as Senior Vice President of Clinical Operations and Quality Management, Ms. Swauger is responsible for the coordination and oversight of clinical operations consistent with the programs developed that optimize best practices of patient care for RCMG. Ms. Swauger is responsible for promoting high standards of practice through development of policies, protocols, and practice guidelines, as well as by leading clinical areas of professional services and technical services according to disciplined metrics as set forth by the organization’s strategic plans. She leads daily operations, interprets changes in the marketplace, generates ideas, and participates in quality assurance initiatives that increase RCMG’s market advantage.

After over 40 years in the medical field, Ms. Swauger has held a multitude of positions including Clinical Education Specialist and Administrator E-Learning Systems at Sutter Health, Manager of Utilization Management at Health Plan of San Joaquin, UM Nurse at Pacific Partners PPMSI, District Manager at Kelly Assisted Living, Supervisor Case Management and Utilization Review at Health Net, Supervisor of Medical Management at Omni Healthcare, Regional Clinical Director for Colorado & Wyoming at TRIWEST, Charge Nurse of Operating Room at Sutter Auburn Faith Hospital and LA County Medical Center, Surgery Supervisor at Eskaton Corporation, and Director of Nursing Specialties.

Ms. Swauger has a Diploma in Nursing from Los Angeles School of Nursing and a Bachelor’s Degree in Healthcare Administration from Chapman University. Ms. Swauger is also a member of the Association of Operating Room Nurses.
