Kendrick Que brings significant executive leadership experience in health care delivery transformation. He is a strategic leader experienced in health system turnaround, leading culture change in large organizations, while building teams to focus on growth and financial performance. As the Chief Executive Officer of River City Medical Group, Mr. Que’s focus is on healthcare innovation and the development of sustainable management solutions to risk-bearing entities.
Mr. Que has held senior executive roles for over 20 years. The last two years, he served as the Chief Executive Officer of Vivant Health, a separate but affiliated organization to RCMG where he spearheaded the foundation of a management services organization geared towards the highly competitive managed care landscape of the State of California. Prior to this period, he served as the Chief Operating Officer for RCMG for six years where he was responsible for setting the medical group on a significant growth track expanding the group’s capabilities across the care continuum for its 275,000 members. He now continues to also serve in that COO capacity. At The Advisory Board, he focused on delivering market-leading analytic and management services to several hospitals and medical group systems. At Dignity Health, he was the Administrator for the hospital system’s foundation model medical group, Mercy Medical Group (MMG). MMG grew to 12 sites under his tenure with over 350 employed physicians.
Mr. Que has also held progressive roles in the payor space having worked for both United Healthcare, managing the several counties in Northern California’s Bay Area, and Harvard Pilgrim Healthcare in growing their Medicare product lines in the State of Massachusetts.
He earned his Bachelor’s Degree and Masters in Business Administration from Boston University.
Mr. Que is a member of America’s Physician Groups (APG) and the California Association of Health Plans (CAHP).
