Michael Goves

Michael Goves has extensive experience in educational leadership and curriculum development, currently serving as CPLD Lead at River Learning Trust since September 2021 and NPQ Lead at Oxfordshire Teaching School Hub since September 2022. Prior positions include Learning & Assessment Coordinator at Reddam House Berkshire, Senior Professional Tutor at Ark, and Deputy Head Teacher at The Wellington Academy Trust. Michael held the role of Director of Teaching School at Wellington College Teaching School Partnership and has a strong foundation in biology education from previous roles at Wellington College. Educational qualifications include an MRes in Education from the National College of Education and a BSc (Hons) in Psychology from the University of Nottingham, as well as an M-PGCE in Science.
