Katelynn Putkonen

Katelynn Putkonen is an experienced recreation management professional with a solid background in various leadership roles within park districts and community organizations. Currently serving as Recreation Manager at River Trails Park District since March 2020, Katelynn has held previous positions including Recreation Supervisor at the Village of Libertyville and Leisure Services Supervisor at Northbrook Park District. Katelynn's experience also includes roles at Round Lake Area Park District and Carmel Catholic High School, where responsibilities spanned aquatics supervision, nature programming, and coaching basketball. Katelynn holds a Bachelor of Science in Sport and Fitness Administration/Management from the University of Wisconsin Parkside, earned in 2014.
