Walt Whimpenny

Walt Whimpenny is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in engineering and project management in both commercial and federal sectors. Currently serving as the Federal Solutions Engineering Manager for Intelligence at Riverbed Technology since December 2013, Walt has a strong background in managing significant projects and client relationships. Prior experience includes roles such as Director of Professional Services at OPNET Technologies, where Walt effectively drove revenue growth, and an adjunct professor at Northern Virginia Community College, imparting knowledge in diverse technical topics. Walt holds multiple degrees, including an M.S. in Software Engineering from The George Washington University and an M.S. in Resource Management from Syracuse University, complemented by a B.S. in Environmental Science/Geology from Allegheny College.
