Kila Taylor has a diverse work experience that spans various roles in different organizations. Kila started their career at Whale and Dolphin Conservation in 2011, where they worked as a Centre Coordinator and later as a Scottish Conservation Field Assistant and a Scottish Conservation Officer. In these roles, they managed a network of trained volunteers, recruited and trained partnership organizations, and collected data for a citizen science project focused on the Scottish coastline.
In 2014, Kila joined Riverford Organic Farmers, where they held several positions over the years. Kila started as a Receptionist and then moved on to work as a Business Support, Employee Engagement and Development Coordinator, and Employee Engagement Lead. Kila'smost recent role at Riverford is as an Employee Engagement Manager. In May 2021, they were promoted to Head of Internal Communications and Engagement.
