Cheryl McCarthy has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Cheryl started their career in 1995 as a Business Development professional at Arrowhead Credit Union, where they worked until 1999. In 1999, Cheryl joined Rivermark Community Credit Union, where they held various roles. Cheryl began as a Marketing & Communications professional, responsible for corporate communications, copywriting, and campaign development. From 2006 to 2011, Cheryl served as a Product Marketing Manager, focusing on growth strategies and product development. Cheryl then transitioned to Branch Manager for a brief period from 2011 to 2012. Cheryl's next role at Rivermark was as Training Manager, where they managed the training team and developed leadership development and innovation programs. In 2020, they took on the role of Culture & Development Director and was recently promoted to Vice President Employee Experience.
Cheryl McCarthy pursued their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Education from 1987 to 1990 at Oregon State University.
