Ryan Dahlem

Ryan Dahlem currently serves as the Head of School at The Rivers School since July 2023. With a robust background in educational leadership, Ryan's previous roles include serving as Assistant Head of School, Upper School Assistant Principal, and Director of Admission and Financial Aid at St. Margaret’s Episcopal School from July 2006 to June 2023. Prior experience includes the position of Associate Director of Admission at Stanford University from August 2002 to June 2006 and a teaching role as a Math Teacher and Head Varsity Wrestling Coach at University High School, Irvine from August 1996 to June 2002. Ryan began a career in education as a Math Teacher Intern at Fenway High School in 1995-1996. Ryan holds an Ed.M. in Teaching and Curriculum from Harvard Graduate School of Education and a BA in Psychology from Stanford University.
