Rainer Büttner

Rainer Büttner has extensive experience in the cruise industry, starting with their current position as the Executive Director of Operations at Riverside Luxury Cruises since 2023. Prior to that, they worked at Sea Chefs from 2002 to 2023, holding roles such as Senior Hotel Operations Manager, Hotel Operations Manager, and Hotel Manager. Rainer also worked at AIDA Cruises as an Executive Maitre from 1999 to 2000, and at MS Arkona, MS Columbus, and MS AIDA as a Steward, Barkeeper, and Maitre from 1996 to 1999.

Rainer Büttner attended Hotelfachschule Hamburg from 2000 to 2002, where they earned a Dipl. Hotel - Betriebswirt degree in Hotel BWL.
