Naresh C. Chandan

Naresh C. Chandan has over 25 years of work experience in the medical field. Naresh started their career as a Physician at Community Health Center, Riverside Medical Center in 1995, where they worked until 2009. During this time, they also served as the Physician Advisor at Riverside Medical Center Kankakee Illinois. In 2009, they became the Program Director and Director of Medical Education at Riverside Healthcare, where they still hold these positions. In addition, they became a Clinical Associate Professor of Internal Medicine at Midwestern University (IL) in 2009, an Adjunct Associate Professor of Internal Medicine at Des Moines University in 2015, and a Clinical Assistant Professor of Internal Medicine at Ohio University Heritage College College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2012. From 1990 to 1997, they served as a Captain in the US Air Force Reserve. Naresh Chandan completed their residency at the University of Iowa, Des Moines Internal Medicine Residency program from 1992 to 1995.

Naresh C. Chandan's education history begins in 1978 when they attended Panjab University, obtaining a Master's of Science degree in Microbiology. After completing their Master's degree in 1979, they pursued further education and enrolled in Des Moines University from 1988 to 1992. During their time there, they earned a Doctor of Osteopathy (D.O.) degree in Medicine.

Following their studies at Des Moines University, Naresh C. Chandan joined the University of Iowa Internal Medicine Residency at Iowa Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines, Iowa. Naresh completed the Internal Medicine Residency Program from 1992 to 1995, earning a Post Graduate Internal Medicine degree.

In terms of additional certifications, Naresh C. Chandan obtained the Diplomate certification from the American Board of Internal Medicine in December 2016. Naresh also achieved the Diplomate certification from the American Osteopathic Board of Internal Medicine in the same month and year.
