Rene Padilla has a diverse work experience spanning different industries and roles. They started their career in 2002 as a Tech 1 to Sr Engineer at Fermilab, where they were involved in setting up cabling and soldering of test equipment. From 2004 to 2010, they worked at Dart Entities as a System Administrator and Help Desk Support Technician, providing systems administration support for Unix systems.
In 2013, they joined Famous Footwear as a Sales Associate, focusing on providing exceptional customer service and reducing loss from theft. From 2014 to 2016, Rene worked as a Wardrobe Specialist at St John Knits, providing personalized customer service and assisting with system upgrades and maintenance.
In 2014, Rene also joined Hartmann as an Assistant Manager, responsible for operational goals and coaching employees. They then moved to Houghton Mifflin Harcourt, where they worked as a CE Tech Support agent from 2016 to 2018, providing troubleshooting and training for testing platforms.
Currently, Rene is working at Riverside Insights. They started as a CE Tech Support agent from 2018 to 2020, providing technical support and creating training processes for chat agents. They are currently a Content Administrator, curating content for the company knowledgebase known as the Self-Help Portal.
Throughout their career, Rene has demonstrated strong customer service skills, technical expertise, and the ability to adapt to different roles and industries.
Rene Padilla completed their A+ Computer Servicing degree with a focus on Information Systems (Network Admin Track) at Waubonsee Community College from 1997 to 2000. Additionally, they obtained various certifications related to instructional design and e-learning from LinkedIn, starting in May 2022.
