Phil Borel

Phil Borel has a diverse work experience in the technology industry. Phil most recently worked at RIVET Work as a Senior Software Engineer. Prior to that, they worked at a Stealth Startup as a Lead Software Engineer and Founding Software Engineer. Phil also gained experience at Procore Technologies as a Software Engineer. At StockX, they were the sole backend/infra engineer and focused on decomposing a monolithic PHP API, building new products and services, and managing service infrastructure using Docker and Kubernetes. Phil started their career at Quicken Loans as a Software Developer.

Phil Borel has a diverse education history in the field of computer science and software engineering. Phil attended Oakland University from 2012 to 2015, where they pursued a degree in Computer Science. During this time, they also obtained a certification in Project Management from the same institution in 2013.

In 2015, Phil attended Dev Bootcamp and completed a program in Software Engineering & Full-stack Web Development, focusing on Computer Software Engineering. Phil further enhanced their skills in software engineering by attending another program at Dev Bootcamp in 2016, specializing in MEAN Stack Development.

In addition to their formal education, Phil has obtained additional certifications. Phil acquired the AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate (SAA) certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in February 2020. Furthermore, in June 2014, they earned the Certified Associate in Project Management certification from the Project Management Institute.
