Jeffrey Girbach

Jeffrey Girbach is a seasoned professional in the automotive and engineering sectors, currently serving as Senior Manager of Powertrain at Rivian since May 2022, focusing on validation engineering for electric vehicle powertrains. Prior to this, Jeffrey held various managerial roles at Daimler AG from February 2000 to May 2022, overseeing the development of advanced engineering technologies such as alternative fuel engines and aftertreatment systems, and leading teams in engine performance and emissions development. Jeffrey's career began at General Motors, where responsibilities included the design, validation, and release of automotive systems as a Project Engineer. Jeffrey holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Michigan State University, earned between 1991 and 1995.
