Johnny Wall

Johnny Wall is a highly experienced engineering professional with a focus on firmware and systems engineering. Currently serving as a Sr. Staff Firmware and Systems Engineer at Rivian since June 2024, Johnny previously held the position of System Engineer at Apple from April 2016 to May 2024. Prior to that, Johnny worked as a Senior Engineer III at Honda Performance Development from September 2007 to March 2016, where responsibilities included the development and prototype testing of electrical systems for racing applications, along with ECU hardware design and validation. Johnny's earlier roles include Press Shop Engineer at Toyota Motor Manufacturing Canada, where tasks involved PLC programming and robotics, and Manufacturing Engineer at Heartland Appliances, where an electronic Kanban inventory tracking system was developed. Johnny Wall holds a BASC in Mechanical Engineering with a minor in Mechatronics from the University of Waterloo, completed in 2007.
