Thomas Schulz focuses his practice on the representation of businesses and entrepreneurs in connection with general corporate matters; mergers, acquisitions and restructurings; commercial real estate and loan transactions; and commercial litigations. He has provided counsel to a vast array of companies, from small start-ups to large, publically-traded entities. In addition to providing general corporate counseling and representation, Thomas has represented clients in merger and acquisition transactions with enterprise values ranging from several million dollars to four hundred million dollars, has aided clients in the development of significant commercial projects on Long Island and in New York City, and has represented clients in noteworthy commercial litigations, including a successful challenge of a New York tax statute, resulting in a declaration of unconstitutionality under the Commerce Clause of the United States Constitution.
