Gary Nagel

Gary Nagel has over 30 years of experience in the banking industry. Gary started their career at Nedbank in 1981, where they served as Manager's Assistant and gained experience in credit oversight and lending. Gary then joined Bank of Lisbon International as a Retail Branch Manager before moving to FirstRand Bank Ltd as a Senior Relationship & Risk Manager. In 1997, they joined Absa Bank Limited and held various roles, including Regional Head of Relationship Management and General Manager of Credit Risk. Most recently, they worked at Riyad Bank as Vice President and Credit Analysis Team Leader.

Gary Nagel completed their Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) degree in Banking, Corporate, Finance, and Securities Law at the University of Pretoria from 2003 to 2004. Prior to that, they earned an Associate Diploma in Banking from the Institute of Bankers in South Africa from 1987 to 1988.
