Rahul R Mehta

Rahul R Mehta is currently an Associate Product Designer at Rizzle. Rahul has previously worked as a Senior Mobile Developer at ALLPS GmbH from January 2018 to April 2019, and as an Application Developer at IBM India Private Limited from January 2016 to January 2018.

Rahul has experience developing Android solutions across mobile and tablet devices. Rahul is skilled in writing unit, integration and UI test cases, and in writing and maintaining stable codebases by implementing Android Architecture Components. Rahul has also worked with APIs, third party libraries (Retrofit, okhttp), analytics (Firebase Crashlytics), and occasional API creation (along with Swagger API definition) in backend using Java/Kotlin. Rahul is experienced in Continous Integration and Delivery, code and resource optimizations, and version control using GIT.

At IBM India Private Limited, Rahul maintained a legacy CFSW (Configurator for Software) codebase written completely in c++. Rahul was responsible for debugging and bug finding using gdb, getting new requirements from clients and implementing them in the legacy code while making sure nothing broke, coordinating with the deployment team for new releases, and supporting customers to help them get their orders through.
