David Bannister

David Bannister, P. Eng., is responsible for their GTA East sector, focusing on the wellbeing of their business in the Regions of York and Durham and projects undertaken with Government Departments and Ministries.

With over 40 years of consulting experience, Dave works on numerous assignments meeting client needs, budgets and time lines. He is often tasked with overseeing all aspects for projects on behalf of municipalities and provincial agencies. Dave specializes in hydrotechnical, municipal and environmental engineering on projects throughout Canada and internationally.

He is passionate about his career and recently received the Joe Johnson Sr. Private Sector Award from the Ontario Public Works Association (OPWA) for his contributions to public works. Two stormwater management facility retrofit projects he designed: Pioneer Park SWM Facility Rehabilitation for the Technical Innovation Award and; Rumble Pond Adaptive Stormwater infrastructure Project for the Environmental Project of the Year, have also received OPWA awards.

Dave has been a Designated Consultant with the PEO since 1987. As Past Chair of Consulting Engineers of Ontario, he remains active on CEO committees. He devotes his spare time to his family and you can often find him working around their property or touring in the Corvette Stingray he has owned for many years.
