Amy Montgomery

Amy Montgomery has a wide range of work experience in various industries and roles. Amy started their career as a Family Support Specialist at Visinet Inc. in 2003. Amy then worked as a Family Resource Partner at Cedars Youth Services from 2005 to 2014, where they licensed and supported foster homes and families. Amy also served as the Assistant Program Manager at Cedars Youth Services from 2014 to 2016, providing support to homeless and near-homeless youth.

In 2016, they joined the Nebraska Children's Home Society as a Permanency Support Specialist, advocating and educating families who have formed through adoption or guardianship. Amy also worked as the Marketing and Outreach Coordinator at Right Turn of Nebraska from 2017 to 2018, doubling website traffic within their first 10 months in the position.

Their most recent role was at RKD Group, where they held various positions. Amy served as a Content Coordinator from 2018 to 2021, reviewing copy, data, and artwork for quality and consistency. Amy then became the Quality Assurance Manager in 2021, before being promoted to the Associate Director of Quality Assurance in 2022. In this leadership role, they supervise a team and ensures a fast-paced environment runs smoothly. Throughout their work experience, Amy demonstrated strong organizational skills, attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and the ability to quickly learn and adapt. Amy also has experience in volunteer coordination and board work, as well as community networking and fundraising in animal welfare organizations.

Amy Montgomery received their Bachelor of Science degree in Sociology from Minnesota State University Moorhead from 1998 to 2003.
